Carb-O-Nator® is an advanced potassium bicarbonate fungicide with an 85% concentration, offering broad-spectrum protection against various fungal pathogens. Formulated similarly to Milstop, this effective foliar fungicide uses a multi-site mode of action involving osmotic pressure, pH changes, and specific ion effects to rapidly dehydrate and collapse the spores and mycelium of susceptible fungi. Particularly effective on powdery mildew, Carb-O-Nator® disrupts pathogen cell walls with potassium, ensuring effective disease control.
Key Features:
- Broad-spectrum activity against a variety of fungal pathogens, including powdery mildew.
- Acts rapidly by causing dehydration and collapse of fungal spores and mycelium.
- Disrupts pathogen cell-wall balance, enhancing overall disease control.
- Safe for use with a 4-hour re-entry interval (REI) and a zero-day pre-harvest interval (PHI).
- Suitable for a wide range of crops including fruits, vegetables, nuts, and turf.
- Exempt from residue restrictions and safe for beneficials and bees.
Application Instructions:
Mix 2.5 to 5 lbs of Carb-O-Nator® per 100 gallons of water. Ensure complete coverage of all plant parts. Do not apply through irrigation systems and apply the solution within 12 hours of preparation. For best results, use a properly calibrated sprayer and check calibration frequently. Repeat applications as needed based on disease pressure, and do not store unused spray solution.
Tank Mixing: Agitation is necessary to ensure uniform distribution. Perform a jar test for unfamiliar tank mixes to avoid incompatibility issues and potential phytotoxicity.
Application Rates:
- Field & Greenhouse Applications: Mix 2.5-5 lbs per 100 gallons of water.
- Turf Applications: Mix 0.92 oz to 1.84 oz in 2.5 gallons of water, applying at a rate of 2.5 gallons per 1,000 sq. ft. or 109 gallons per acre.
- Ornamentals in Fields: Mix 2.5 to 5 lbs in 100 gallons of water, applying a minimum of 20 gallons per acre.
- Ornamentals in Greenhouses: Mix 2.5 to 5 lbs in 100 gallons of water, using 10-20 gallons of solution per 4,350 sq. ft. or 1/10 acre.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, and avoid exposure to moisture. Keep container tightly closed and out of reach of children. Prevent contamination with other pesticides or fertilizers.
Warning: CAUTION. Harmful if swallowed. Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling.
