How It Works:
BoteGHA ES controls insects by penetrating their cuticle and proliferating inside their bodies. The fungal spores germinate upon contact, producing enzymes that dissolve the insect's cuticle, allowing the fungus to grow within and ultimately kill the pest. The infected insects may change color as they die. Under favorable conditions, the fungus can emerge from the dead insect and release spores to infect others.
Application Rates:
- Apply at a rate of ½ - 2 quarts per acre for effective coverage.
- Ensure thorough coverage of foliage for maximum control.
Timing:
For best results, use BoteGHA ES early in the pest lifecycle. Apply at 7-day intervals to maintain control. In high pest populations, increase spray frequency to every 3 to 5 days and consider including a compatible insecticide/miticide in the tank mix.
Tank Mixing:
BoteGHA ES is compatible with many insecticides and spray Adjuvants. Ensure compatibility before mixing with fungicides. Follow the most restrictive labeling limitations and precautions of all products used in mixtures.
Storage & Disposal:
Store BoteGHA ES in a cool, dry place at room temperature. Avoid storage below freezing or above 85°F. Keep the container tightly closed when not in use. Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage and disposal. Refer to the product label for detailed storage and disposal instructions.
