Experience the next level of plant protection with BioGuard AG, an organic biological fungicide and bactericide harnessing the power of Streptomyces lydicus WYEC 108. This naturally occurring microbe effectively suppresses and controls a broad spectrum of soil-borne and foliar diseases. By colonizing the root system and foliage, BioGuard AG displaces pathogenic fungi and protects plants from further fungal development, ensuring a vibrant root zone and healthy, vigorous foliage growth.

Key Features:

  • Effective Disease Control: Suppresses and controls a wide range of plant diseases, including damping-off, root and stem rot, charcoal rot, and wilt caused by pathogens such as Alternaria, Anthracnose, Armillaria, Bipolaris, Botrytis, Cladosporium, Didymella, Fusarium, Macrophomina, Monilinia, Mycosphaerella, Penicillium, Phytophthora, Pythium, Rhizoctonia, Sclerotinia, Taphrina, Verticillium, Xanthomonas, Downy Mildews, and Powdery Mildews.
  • Flexible Application: Can be applied through foliar applications, soil drenches, irrigation, in-furrow applications, seed treatments, cutting or bare-rooted transplant dips, dusting and coating of bulbs/corms/tubers/rhizomes/seeds, and chemigation.
  • Restricted-Entry Interval (REI): Safe to use up to and including the day of harvest with a minimal 4-hour REI.
  • Compatibility: Mixes well with other registered fungicides, bactericides, insecticides, or nematicides unless otherwise restricted. Always check compatibility and consult the manufacturer as needed.
  • Water Solubility: Easily soluble in water, ensuring it won't clog machinery and doesn't require constant agitation during application.
  • Versatile Crop Use: Suitable for all crops grown for seed, including brassica vegetables, bulb vegetables, bushberries, caneberries, cereal grains, citrus fruit, cucurbit vegetables, edible fungi, fruiting vegetables, small fruit vine climbing, herbs and spices, hops, leafy vegetables, legumes, low growing berries, nongrass animal feeds, oilseeds, olives, peanuts, pome fruit, root & tuber vegetables, stalk/stem/leaf petiole vegetables, stone fruit, tree nuts, and tropical/subtropical fruit.

Application Directions:

  1. Preparation: Determine the number of acres to be treated and the specified label use rate. Select the appropriate gallonage for thorough and uniform coverage of all plant parts or soil saturation.
  2. Mixing: Prepare only the amount needed for immediate use. Apply any unused product within 4 months of opening and before the expiration date.
  3. Timing: Apply prior to disease onset or in the early stages of disease development. Use higher labeled rates during conducive weather conditions for disease development, in fields with a history of disease, or in low-till programs.
  4. Restrictions: Do not mix with chlorinated water, quaternary ammonia, or hydrogen peroxide. Follow specific crop and application method directions on the manufacturer's label.

Environmental Considerations:

Avoid applying directly to water or intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment washwater or rinsate. Collect or cover any spilled seeds or product during use.
